While camping this week my family managed to randomly set up our tent right under the roosting tree for a Bald Eagle. Here are some pictures I took of it.
Eagles are just moving into our cotnuy in southern Iowa. I get very excited when I see one. The numbers are really starting to climb in Iowa but especially along the big rivers, the Des Moines, the Racoon, The Cedar and of course, the granddaddy of em, The Mississippi.
